ABMR is home to I Am Hologram, Holopalooza, ABMR News & Reviews, podcasts, music videos, release pages, and independent work built outside the usual industry machinery.

I Am Hologram

I Am Hologram is the solo project of Richard Nihil, a one-man acoustic jam band making Psychedelic Folk with Dirtbag Poetry. Since 2021, Nihil has toured more than 150,000 miles by minivan and performed more than 800 shows across 47 states and Mexico. A new single, Has That Demon Always Been Standing Behind You?, is coming November 13, 2026 on major streaming platforms.

Philip Kills Dick

Philip Kills Dick is an experimental sound and audiovisual project, built around pulling familiar material apart and rebuilding it into something strange. Using manipulated instruments, environmental recordings, voices, noise and technology as raw material, the project explores altered reality, transmission and perception through sound.
