Sean Dundas & Friends Release Instrumental EP “Voyage”

Phoenix, AZ — January 24, 2025 — Sean Dundas & Friends, a dynamic three-piece progressive trio, have officially released their latest instrumental EP, Voyage. Known for their groove-driven sound and rhythmic intricacy, the band delivers a captivating musical journey that reflects their eclectic influences and commitment to creative freedom.

Sean Dundas & Friends blends modern and old-school elements into a vibrant mix of heavy rock, dark cinematic melodies, funk, and jazz. Their sound reflects a deep connection to music’s ability to transcend genres, offering listeners a broad and dynamic auditory experience. What began as a bedroom project during the 2020 quarantine has grown into a powerhouse trio. In the spring of 2023, Dundas joined forces with guitarist Matt Gerber and bassist Dave Dundas, longtime collaborators who bring decades of chemistry and experience to the stage.

“The chemistry and vibe we bring as a three-piece is truly special,” says Dundas. “It’s the result of years of playing together and countless hours spent listening to and bonding over music.”

Voyage is an instrumental concept EP that explores the emotional highs and lows of being lost at sea. Each track takes listeners on a cinematic sonic adventure, weaving intense rhythms and calming grooves into a cohesive narrative. From the first note to the last, Voyage offers an immersive, story-driven experience that underscores the trio’s musical prowess.

Sean Dundas & Friends are set to perform at this year’s Holopalooza, where fans can expect the unexpected. Their set will feature songs from Voyage, with a mix of intense rhythms, ethereal moments, and grooves that promise to transport the audience on a musical journey. The band is keeping their song list under wraps, adding an element of surprise to the performance.

“Holopalooza is a special event for us,” says Dundas. “It’s a chance to support amazing bands across all genres at a venue we love.”

Holopalooza Music Festival will take place at the Linger Longer Lounge in Phoenix, Arizona on March 15th, 2025 which is inspired by the
Sidepony Music Festival

Sean Dundas & Friends recently performed at the Yucca Tap Room and have additional show opportunities in the works. The band is committed to continuing their growth, delivering excellence in live performances, studio projects, and content creation.
