I Am Hologram—Nothing Follows—A Zombie Punk Love Story Premiering at Midnight

Phoenix, AZ – February 14, 2025 – Love is dead, and it’s still hungry. Nothing Follows, the latest music video from I Am Hologram, premieres at midnight on Valentine’s Day, bringing a fresh, undead twist to punk rock romance. Marking his fourth full-length AI-generated video, Richard Nihil once again bends technology to his will, distilling a wild fusion of music, animation, and horror,

Inspired by the 1985 cult classic Return of the Living Dead, Nothing Follows is an animated journey into the dating lives of zombies. Drenched in a crusty ‘80s punk aesthetic, dripping with brains, and oozing that offbeat humor of Punk Rock Girl by The Dead Milkmen, it’s a love story for those who prefer “Girl Eats Boy” over the usual Hallmark clichés.

“I was about seven when Return of the Living Dead came out. I remember seeing movie ads in the newspaper. A few years later, I watched it on VHS. From that moment, I was hooked on the comedy-horror genre. Gory but funny. The film even inspired me to make my own zombie survival plan—living just a few miles from a huge cemetery had that effect,” says Richard Nihil.

Beyond the Apocalypse – What’s Next?

Nothing Follows is another addition to Richard Nihil’s ever-expanding body of work. With each project, he mutates the boundaries of music and art, channeling every tool at his disposal to manifest his singular vision.

Fans can experience I Am Hologram live at Holopalooza, happening March 15, 2025, at the Linger Longer Lounge in Phoenix, AZ. Expect the unexpected—on screen and on stage.
